Mental Health and Wellness

There is a clear connection between mental and emotional health and academic performance. Helping students reach their Divine Design is an important goal of Stockdale Christian School. Students struggling with depression or other mental health issues have a harder time feeling motivated, learning, concentrating, taking tests, etc.

Professional Development

Mental health awareness allows teachers to better support students with mental or emotional health concerns and help them cope with stress, anxiety, or low mood. Teachers have a powerful positive influence when they create a supportive environment where students feel safe and free to share their feelings.
