Mrs. Knight, my kindergarten teacher, presented the gospel to us, and it’s through her that I accepted Christ.

Q&A with Kristen:

What are some of your favorite memories of SCS?

“Mrs. Stewart, my third grade teacher, had a reading railroad. For every book you read, your train would advance on the track! I love reading and I still remember being so excited when my train made it around the room! I also loved going to the Santa Barbara mission in 4th grade and seeing the headstone for the girl from the book “The Island of the Blue Dolphins”.

How did SCS equip you with a solid biblical foundation?

“Chapel and lessons were all geared around not just learning about God, but knowing Jesus as our Savior. Mrs. Knight, my kindergarten teacher, presented the gospel to us, and it’s through her that I accepted Christ.”
