Pursue Your Passion

Meet Leah Leftwich
SCS Class of 2003
Leah Leftwich graduated from Stockdale Christian in 2003 and went on to study Kinesiology at the University of Oklahoma. Although unrelated to her degree, Leah developed an interest in photography during her time on the yearbook staff in high school. This passion grew over time, and after working for five years in the Oil & Gas health industry, she decided to pursue her dream of owning a wedding photography business. Leah is also a proud mom to two boys, Micah and August, and she and her husband now live in Houston, TX.
"I definitely felt academically prepared entering high school. There were so many passionate teachers I encountered at SCS."

Q&A with Leah:
What is your favorite memory of SCS
“I loved the magazine sales we used to do. Everyone would try to sell as many magazine subscriptions as they could, and the school would put on these big award ceremonies in the church. One year Mr. Pike had a cash blowing machine that was pretty awesome!”
how did the education you received at SCS prepare you for Success?
“I definitely felt academically prepared entering high school. There were so many passionate teachers I encountered at SCS. One of my favorites was my 5th grade teacher, Mr. Bowman. He was always so kind to us and I remember learning to love reading that year.”
